About Me

 Hi, I'm Cristine! I am passionate about cooking plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free meals. I've been cooking my entire life, but 4 years ago I adopted a plant-based, vegan diet and have never felt better. Since this change, my culinary skills and creativity in the kitchen have bloomed. 

Plant-based cooking is one of the healthiest things you can do to fuel your body, mind, & spirit. I truly believe that by incorporating more plant-based foods into your diet, the lighter, healthier, and more energized you will feel. Cooking this way doesn't mean giving up on your favorite past-times, it is instead a conscious choice to cook more compassionately & creatively, and I hope I can help you on this journey. 

Aside from cooking, I enjoy warm Summer days, traveling, great wine, avocado rolls, & comfy over-sized sweaters (and leggings of course) I live just outside Seattle, Washington with my husband Tim. We now have two little kitties; Polly and Gracie! Both names inspired by our favorite show, The Peaky Blinders. 

 

We lost our sweet pup, Ruffles, in the Summer of 2018, he was so loved and brought so much joy to our lives... and he will likely be mentioned in future posts because our animals are people too.
